Cierra DoCouto
Hello and welcome! I'm Cierra DoCouto, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a deep commitment to supporting youth, teenagers, and women on their unique journeys toward growth and self-discovery. I truly believe in your strength and ability to create positive change, and I’m here to walk alongside you, offering warmth, care, and understanding every step of the way. Together, we’ll work toward helping you trust your own internal wisdom and build a more fulfilling, balanced life. My approach is rooted in client-centered principles, focusing on your strengths and experiences while offering a trauma-informed, compassionate perspective. I recognize that everyone's path is different, so I’ll work with you to develop a plan that reflects your unique needs, goals, and hopes for the future. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology from McMaster University and a Master’s in Counselling and Psychology from Yorkville University and have had the privilege of working with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault throughout my practicum. Whether you’re facing anxiety, issues with self-esteem, past trauma, or any other challenge, my priority is to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and heal. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone—I’m here to support you with empathy and care. I look forward to connecting with you and starting this transformative journey together! Please note: Psychotherapy sessions may be included in extended health care coverage. However, coverage varies by plan, so it's important to check with your provider to see if your plan covers psychotherapy. Noterro will send an insurance receipt via email for reimbursement.
